Marta Chelet Coll

Born in Valencia, Spain, in 2003. Since 2021, she studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Flute Chair with professor Jacques Zoon. She has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.

She began her flute studies at the age of seven at La Pobla de Vallbona’s Corporación Musical and furthered her training at Llíria’s Professional Conservatory of Music. In 2017 she entered Torrente’s Conservatory of Music, where she completed her studies with the Professional Prize in the Flute Speciality under the guidance of Miguel Llopis.

Later, she perfected her training with Salvador Martínez.

She has received masterclasses from Paolo Taballione, Barbara Cadelano, Magdalena Martínez, and Pirmin Grehl; she has attended advanced courses with José Sotorres, Miguel Ángel Angulo, and Juanjo Hernández, and she has participated in a meeting with Paco Varoch.

She has been awarded first prize at the 14th Juan V. Aguado Martí Chamber Music Competition and at the Young Music Talents on Stage (2019), as well as second prize at the 13th Andalucía Flute International Competition and third prize at Villa de Castellnovo’s 9th Young Performers Competition.

She has been selected as substitute flute in the Community of Valencia’s Federation of Musical Societies Orchestra and she has been soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of Torrente’s Conservatory of Music, with whom she has performed C. Chaminade’s Concertino, Mozart’s Andante in C major and the Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, under the baton of Francisco Amaya.

As a student of the School, she was a member of the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Juanjo Mena and Péter Csaba; the Sinfonietta, conducted by Zsolt Nagy; the Fundación EDP Camerata, conducted by Paul Goodwin, and of the Zéphyros Sextet, as well as that of the Françaix and Telemann ensembles. She is currenty part of the Zéphyros Quintet.
